We now boast four BRC accredited sites across the UK with 1.5million sq. ft. of temperature-controlled storage and we offer a portfolio of services including state-of-the-art microwave up-tempering, blast freezing and co-packing. We work with our customers to come up with bespoke solutions to drive quality and efficiencies for manufacturers and retailers alike.
We also deliver unrivalled transport capabilities to customers through our partnership with global logistics expert DFDS Logistics.
Most recently, Rick Bestwick has opened Europe’s largest up-tempering facility at its Chesterfield headquarters. The microwave technology can up-temper food from -18°C to -3°C in under three minutes – a process which could take more than 14 hours to thaw without the equipment.
The Rick Bestwick sites in Chesterfield, Scunthorpe, Warrington and Liverpool, are all part of the Magnavale group.
The group brings these complimentary businesses together to deliver flexibility, capacity and a wide-range of value added services in one network.
